As the home town of Adam Ries, Annaberg-Buchholz maintains the
tradition of the great German master of calculations. Annaberg-Buchholz
hosted the first Mental Calculation World Cup where 17 mental
calculators from 10 countries took part.
The World Cup

Multiplication: Alberto Coto (Spain)
Square Root: Jan van Koningsveld (Netherlands)
Calendar Calculations: Matthias Kesselschläger (Germany)
